Scripture Misread and Misinterpreted #1

John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

The Baptist is NOT saying that Christ came to remove all the sins of all the world's inhabitants. He came to remove "the sin of the world" for those whom the Father had given Him.

"I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours."
